♦ Device business
The cell phones, PCs, televisions and other electronic equipment we use daily are made up of various parts. There are many different parts in these devices, such as the driver ICs (integrated circuits) that are needed to display pictures on screens, memory to store data, connectors for the interface, capacitors to provide a stable supply of power, the circuit boards to mount the parts, etc. Sanshin Electronics selects the optimum parts from part manufacturers and makes proposals to the set manufacturers of electronic equipment that meet their needs. We also provide technical support, such as designing ASICs, developing software for microcomputers, providing development tools, etc. We refer to our business of conducting sales activities aimed at set manufacturers as our "device business."
♦ Solutions business
Another part of Sanshin Electronics is our "solutions business." In the solutions business we construct information networks and basic business systems mainly for companies, hospitals, local governments and the national government. In addition, we also provide systems and software products for editing, transmitting, and distributing video contents to customers including the broadcast stations and video production companies. In order to construct systems that meet the needs of our customers, here again Sanshin Electronics selects the necessary PCs, software, communications lines and the encoders/decoders necessary for distribution of video contents from domestic and foreign equipment manufacturers and telecommunications carriers and sells them to our customers.
Although the products handled by the device business and solutions business are different, the business format of selecting products that meet the needs of customers and providing them is the same. Under the slogan, "The optimum solutions for our customers," Sanshin Electronics is committed to these two businesses and aims to keep growing as an electronics trading company. |
